Joel Denton's family has lived in Oak Cliff for three generations. Denton began brewing in his garage in 2007. After a few batches, he began entering competitions and winning them–and realized brewing beer was what he was born to do. Since 2015, he's been working to outfit a space in the historic Tyler Station with a 30-barrel brew house and taproom with an additional three-barrel pilot system for experimental onsite releases.

Erik manages our taproom, biergarten. He is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet… odd taste in football teams though.
Matt Ayres
Director of Sales
Matt Ayres was born in Dallas and has lived all over the Metroplex and the state of Texas. Ayres brings 10 years of sales experience within the beverage industry working as a retailer as well as with other Texas breweries. He has an affinity for clean and traditional beer styles and prefers going against the grain of beer trends. He spends his off time with his wife, dog and 2 cats, watching hockey and reading comics and books on the American West.
